Songwriters in the Round! 

Three concerts that preview and raise funds for the August 2024 NH Women Folk Music Experience festival. Concert #2, April 28, features songwriters and performers Nicole D’Amico, Cat Wolf, Vanessa Jones and Katie Dobbins, and some surprise guests.

Doors and the Majestic Cafe open at 2 PM for your favorite beverages. 

An hour of mostly Baroque music, with Charles Lang, cello; Chris Nourse, violin/viola, and Kate Vachon, flute. 

The Majestic Cafe opens at 11:30 for fresh-made paninis, charcuterie platters and all your favorite beverages. 

First Friday performers include Mountain Top faculty and staff, as well as other Mount Washington Valley musicians, who share their music with the community without compensation. All First Friday concerts are open to the public by donation, in keeping with Mountain Top Music Center's mission of "enriching lives with music.”

The Mt. Washington Choral Society performs THE CREATION, by Franz Josef Haydn.

The public is cordially invited to share the end-of-term performances of the talented Mountain Top Music students. From electric guitar to classical piano, students of all ages will showcase the results of this spring's study.

Attend this event for insights on practice and performance from master educator and musician James Fernando. Pianist are particularly encouraged to attend and play, but all instruments are welcome. Attendees at last year's master class had a ball. This is a Saturday morning well spent! 

Observers also welcome. Mountain Top youth students 18 and under attend free; $10 for everyone else. 

Note that James Fernando will be the featured performer at the Majestic Cafe on Friday, May 17 at 7 PM. 

The Mountain Top Music Community Orchestra, under the direction of Laurie Turley, plays a variety of music for late spring and summer. Pieces range from the humorous “Chopstix Variations” by Jerry Brubaker and Leroy Anderson's lively “Fiddle Faddle,” to the sublime “Vocalise” by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Peter and Will Anderson, sax and clarinet virtuosos and jazz aficionados, perform the beloved music of George Gershwin, accompanied by members of their band. They'll present familiar and not-so-familiar tunes, along with some details and stories of Gershwin's fascinating life and career in the early 20th century. Enjoy this sparkling and informative evening!

Catch some South Beach vibe with Miami Spice! An enthusiastic audience welcomed the band to the Majestic in 2022; if you weren't among them, come see what you missed!

The Miami Spice band is fronted by South Florida pianist Mike Levine (piano) and features Latin Grammy winner and Sabian Cymbals Artist Richard Bravo on Latin percussion, backed by sax, guitars and drum set. Mike studied with Vince Maggio at the University of Miami, and went on to form a group with wind artist Billy Ross. 

The concert will feature multiple forms of Latin jazz, including salsa, Afro-Cuban, and a bit of Brazilian, with a few detours into funk, heavy shuffle, and fusion. 

The Arpeggione Ensemble recreates the original live accompaniment to F.W. Murnau's 1922 silent cinematic masterwork of horror - Nosferatu the Vampyre. Just in time for Halloween! 

Watch the movie on the Majestic's full-size movie screen while you enjoy the original score.

“Take a seat” at the Majestic!

The doors of the fully renovated Majestic Theatre are open! Although we have a functional stage, we need additional equipment and furnishings to bring the Majestic to its full potential.  Sponsorship of the seats is a wonderful way for YOU to participate in this effort! It's also a good way to be part of the Majestic in perpetuity, or to honor a friend or loved one. 

How it works...

On the following screens, you can choose various ways to "sponsor a seat" (or several!)  All seat sponsorships are in perpetuity and come with the option to add a plaque to the seat bearing a name or dedication.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to make this process work conveniently online, we’ve set up seat selection and sponsorship payment in our ticketing software – that means, it’ll look just as if you’re purchasing tickets to an event on December 31, 2021 (an arbitrary date). 

There are three levels of sponsorship in this campaign:

$250 – Choose from seats shown in blue

$500 – Choose from seats shown in orange

$1000 – Choose from seats shown in gold

An intimate nearly 50 seat venue in the storefront next to the Majestic Theatre, the Majestic Cafe serves wine, beer, craft cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and paninis with a close-up view on music from the region's most creative performers.

Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited; reservations are available to guarantee your seat and to indicate a seating choice.  The Friday Night jazz series typically has a $10 per person cover charge.  Thursdays and Saturdays at times have a cover charge but others do not; for the latter no cost reservations are accepted. Doors at 6 pm; come in early and grab a panini before the music starts.  Music starts generally at 7pm unless otherwise indicated.
